In Indore, the district administration has started the process of granting land ownership rights to residents of 29 villages that were included within the municipal corporation boundaries in 2014. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has directed officials on this matter during a recent meeting in Indore. Currently, residents of these villages are facing challenges in selling their homes or obtaining loans for construction due to the lack of proper documentation. They can now apply for land holding rights, allowing them to acquire a 30-year lease. Camps will be set up at various tehsil offices on September 29, 2024, to accept applications from eligible individuals. Applicants should bring required documents, such as utility bills, government correspondence, property tax receipts, and voter registration details, to the camps.
